Nurse and patient during treatment

Your HALO Laser Treatment Experience

We will perform your HALO Laser treatment in the comfort of our Palo Alto office. To begin, we’ll clean your skin and apply a numbing cream to keep you comfortable. Then, we’ll move the laser across your skin to treat your concerns.

The HALO Laser appointment takes less than an hour, depending on the size of the area you’re having treated. You may feel some heat, but it shouldn’t be painful. Before you leave the office, we will apply a soothing ointment to promote the healing process.

Although each of our Palo Alto patients gets a customized treatment plan, most people receive a series of sessions spaced a month or two apart for optimal results.

The Recovery Process

There is a recovery period associated with HALO Laser treatments. When you first leave our Palo Alto office, you’ll experience redness and swelling—almost like a sunburn.

These effects will subside completely within a few days. As you heal, you’ll notice that your skin texture, tone, and complexion are improving. The imperfections will start to fade, and you’ll slowly see younger and more radiant skin.

A Tailored Approach for Comprehensive Facial Rejuvenation

In many cases, we’ll combine your HALO Laser treatments in Palo Alto with other procedures to produce a total rejuvenation. Dermal fillers and neuromodulators, such as Botox, Dysport, and Xeomin, all pair well with HALO Laser treatments to enhance your appearance. During your consultation at our Palo Alto office, we will assess your skin and help you determine which custom blend of procedures is in your best interest.
